This liquid diet sucks but you kind of get used to it. So I'm 3 days out and I'm so excited and so nervous at the same ime. I've never really had major surgery before. I've already lost 13 pounds on this liquid diet and some say they can see thedifference already. I finally told my mother about me having surgery. She said she was mad at me but she's getting over it. I just didn't want to go in without her knowing. Ok, next post hopefully I'll be banded!

I'm scheduled for the 12th of November. So excited. I still need a ride to the hospital that day but I haven't actually told anyone about it so I will need to soon. Started my pre-op diet. It's torture but it's for a good cause so i'm sticking with it! That's all for now...

After going to a seminar, I have scheduled a date to go in and meet with Dr and Psychiatrist and have bloodwork done, I believe. So the 27th is the big day for me. I will find out if I am eligible. I have decided to do this on my own and finance it myself. I know my insurance here at my new job doesn't cover it so I would just like to get it done as soon as possible. Wish me luck. I will post again after my appointment.
