Sorry I haven't been on. Lots of things happening. The day I went in to surgery my son was admitted for low counts due to chemo. I was on my way into surgery when I found out so I sent my other son home to be with him. Surgery went very well until I developed an allergic reaction to a medication. I went in on Monday and didn't get to go home until Thursday evening. I haven't thrown up yet which was my biggest fear. I'm down 20lbs and feeling great most of the time. I actually got to eat taco soup (purreed of course). I added salsa and a little cheese. It was so good after all the soup and broth. I didn't eat very much but I savored every bite.When I figure out how to put a picture on my avatar it will change. I am having a problem getting all of my protein. I absolutely hate the unjury. Any ideas?

Day number 4 of my pre-op diet. Going much better than I thought it would. Only four more days until my new life begins.

Getting excited. Can't wait to get started on my new life.
