HELLO KEVIN MY NAME IS TONIA I TOO AM HAVING SURGERY AT BTC IN YPSI. MY DATE IS 4-22-03 AND MY SURGEON IS DR. BATAY-CSORBA. I AM VERY EXCITED AND NERVOUS AT THE SAME TIME. I HAVE BEEN TO A FEW SUPPORT GROUPS AND A FRIEND OF MINE ALSO HAD HER SURGERY THERE. I AM COMFORTABLE WITH THE STAFF AND THE HOSPITAL ITSELF. Hi Kevin I am looking tonight for others who will be at BTC when I am and I have so far found 3 of you! My surgery is set for 4/24/03 with Dr. Batay-Csorba. When I got my date it was seven weeks out and I too was disapointed. I actually called up in November and said I would like to schedule the surgery over Christmas (I also work in a school). The person actually laughed and gave me a consultation date two weeks out. Little did I know how long this process would take. But is better to be safe than sorry. I agree the worst part has been waiting for people to call back and to sign off so my file can move to the next approval. Up until this week I have just been excited and anxious for the next step to be approved. But now I am getting a little nervous. I suddenly feel I do not know enough about after surgery as to what I should do now to prepare. I hope at my pre-op on 4/11 to get more info. I have found the support groups I have been going to helpful and this site as well. Best of luck to you and see you at BTC!
