It's really good that you're so committed and that you're already thinking about everything you will need to have and/ or do after surgery. It will lead to your success, guaranteed. I am truly excited I started my process for the Gastric Lap Band Surgery in April of 2004. I completed all the necessary test. My package was sent to my insurance provider(Empire Blue Cross HMO) and I was approved in 1 week. My surgery date is August 11,2004 and I really can't wait. I started to prepare for the liquid diet that I will have to start the week before and I have been very conscious about the amount of food I put in my mouth and that I make sure to chew very well. I am a little nervous about the adjustment after the surgery but I am going to try hard to follow everything I need to do to survive.
