Hi, my name is Mona and I live in Cleveland, Ohio and I am deciding to have gastric bypass surgery. I currently weigh 411 pounds, I will be celebrating my 55th birthday in May and I am at the point in my life were I am unable to walk even a short distance or able to stand for a long period of time. My respitory dr. states that if I don't have the surgery that in a few short months I will be in a wheelchair, then my next step would be a bed captive then eventually I would be nursing home bound, which I would rather die first. I have to have this done, I want to live a longer life and enjoy with my daughters and all my grandchildren. I am hoping to have the surgery in the next few months.
