"I had my meeting with Dr. Wetherille on 2/24/05.He's a very nice and informative surgeon.He made me at ease going over my medical chart and commenting on how the GBS would help my conditions and that he felt I was a good candidate.Everyone I had to work with on his staff seems very nice and understanding.Most of the staff nurses have been threw the surgery also so they can talk from experience which makes me feel more at ease.Aftercare was greatly emphasized because if you don't follow what your told to do after the surgery then it will all be done for nothing because you'll have problems with your health and getting to your desired weight and keeping it off.They have aftercare appointments scheduled every so often after surgery to keep an eye on your health.They covered all the risks of surgery and made me feel at ease with my chances of not having any problems.So far,since I don't have the surgery until 3/2, I feel I'll be in good hands with Dr. Wetherille and his staff at Methodist Hospital.These are just my personal impressions of my own personal experience and other people may have different experiences than me."
