Well, I'll be a year out in March of 08. It has been a wild year, a crazy year, but a good one. I have lost about 132 pounds and am doing well. No problems yet. I have made a resolution to work out more and try to firm up all the 'flab' I have now, but I am happy with my new body. I haven't been in a size ten since the seventh grade, I think! It is wonderful. I wish the best year possible to all the post ops and pre ops and hope I can inspire, guide, or even teach someone something. I love you all!
Welcome!! My name is Shelley and my story is much like everyone else's. I'm just trying to make the best life that I can. You only go around once, right???? I have 2 kids who light up my life and I'm working on my graduate degree. I don't want to spend any more of my life bitter and sad. I'm living for the moment!
