It all went well. Really did not tell me much of anything I didn't already read up on. But It was nice to hear there sucess rate is GREAT... I was set on the lap band because it seemed safter. They have had no deaths at there facility for anyone that has gone through the lap band surgery and only 2 deaths for the Gastric Bypass out of 5,000 something. So not to shabby. I at least feel I will be in good hands. They will have to repair my hiatal hernia when I go for surgery. I already had a feeling about that. But glad I can still have it at the same time. I go back to meet with the Nurse on the 4th. My insurance requires a 3 month diet dr supervised. Could of been worse. I hear most do 6 months. I hope to get my Surgery in April or May then... Talked to my family members and they think it is a great Idea. Feels good to have there support.

Thanks hun for helping me find this site... It looks like a great place to meet others and gain a lot of information.
I will wait to meet with the doc before I make a decision on the lap band or the gastric like you had. I still am leaning towards the lap band.  I'm so lucky to have you in my life... You have come such a long way... And I really thank you for being here for me through this start of my own journey....  You rock!!! xoxoxo hugs I'm ready lets go.. lol
