"Dr. Harris was professional and did an excellent job. His bedside manner is also much better than many surgeons I have had experience with. Meredith Wawner, the PA, is excellent. Very caring and will take as much time with you as needed. She even checked on me post-op in recovery. I hardly had any pain post-op and was up and walking by noon after being moved to my room at 9:00 a.m. After discharge and the first night at home, I didn't need anything stronger than liquid tylenol, despite having been prescribed pain meds. Dr. Harris has a stellar reputation in this area for being the best, and I now understand why. His association with the counselors and nutritionists at the Chrysalis Center provides for support both before and after the procedure, as well. And monthly support group meetings are well run and include timely topics."
