My name is Mary and I am just turning 40, married no children. I do have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a goat though. I have not been fat all my life. I have really been overweight until the last 15 years. I had a lot of female problems and took lots of hormones that changed my metabolism. I also became less active and my bad eating habits caught up with me. I have had a hard time adjusting to being overweight and have had very low self esteem. I don't think I will be able to afford surgery but need all the support I can get.
