I have run into a problem with the insurance co. They have turned me down because I was'nt overweight enough 5 years ago! I completed all the other requirements that Blue Cross Blue Sheild of North Dakota has.I did the 6 months of 1200 calorie diet I met all the other tests. Now they say because I had a BMI of 37 five years ago and it is now 53.5 that is'nt good enough. My doctors and I are going to appeal it. I have high cholesterol and GERD and joint pain in my hips knees and back. I have a family history of diabetes and heart disease. also severe arthritis. I don't know what 5 years ago has to do with now. If anybody has any suggestions please let me know. I am very frustrated and diappointed. God Bless you allfor you support and encouagement.

~~~~CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY. ~~~~ Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run.
