John Maguire
"I really love Dr. Maguire. He is up-front, honest, and sincere. I was impressed with him from the beginning because he doesn't sugar-coat anything. If you ask him a question, he will just tell you the straight answer. I feel very comfortable with his knowledge, skills, experience, and attitude. I believe he is the most capable of all the WLS surgeons in all of the Dayton, Ohio area. His staff is very helpful as well. When a surgeon can spend time attending a monthly support group meeting, that says to me that this guy really does care about his patients. He has even done surgeries on his day off work or on a Holiday to help his patient. That speaks volumes to me. If you want a warm and fuzzy type of guy, he's not it. He is friendly, but busy. To me, having excellent skills and concern for patients is far more important than someone who knows how to flatter. I can get flattery anywhere."
