Thank the lord!  I was so preoccupied the past few months leading up to this surgery, it was hard to think about the rest of my life going on around me. Now I feel like I can get on with living.

I have to say, this is a little more painful than I was led to believe. I think most of the pain is from the gas they pump you up with. Fortunately for me, my surgeon always keeps you in the hospital over night. I can not imagine going home the day of surgey.

Well, here I go!   

BCBS has approved me. I am meeting this next Monday with the surgeon to set up the surgery. Unfortunatelly I have just come down with mono, so hopefully that will not slow me down too much.
