Surgery date was 4-10-06 my 30th birthday......So it's been 2 yrs and 5 months. I weigh 151 lbs and have for a few months.....not sure if this is as low as I get or not???? But what I can say is Gastric Bypass surgery is the best thing I have ever done in my life.  I am soooooooo much happier and healthier. I feel great and I am not looking back.  I am more emotionally stable I believe we carry pain in the fat. The quality of my life is better I don't seek as much attention from men because my self esteem is higher and I have been faithful to my boyfriend for over 10 months! All I can say Is I FEEL GREAT!!!!! It's noy hard I just live life eat when I'm hungry stop when I'm full.....I wear a size 10 jeans M shirt.  All is well I will update more often.  Let's see for the most part I don't have much loose skin but I am self conscious about my stomach and boobs in the nude.  In clothes they are Good so I guess I'll just keep my clothes on!  HAPPY LOSING ; )

It's been a while................I am down to 166 a total loss from my top weight of 120 lbs and exactly 100 lbs lost from 4-10-2006 RNY!  I love it I have never regretted it, I recommend it to everyone my Quality of life is SOOOO much better!

Hi I just posted some new pics they were taken on 3-17-2007 in the red shirt.  I feel so much better I am currently still holding at 175 which is a loss of 86 Pounds since surgery and 111 pounds lost from my top weight of 286 pounds.  I am comfortable wearing size 14.  I am scheduled for my 1 year post-op visit on Friday April 13th.  My 1 year surgery date is 4-10-2007 which is also my 31st Birthday!  I started my new life at 30 and I will never look back I feel so much better but looking at these pics I still have a long way to go!  I still strongly believe if you are debating between the lap band or RNY get the RNY and don't look back it actually works and I never feel sick.  With the band I felt horrible all the time and the weight loss was minimal.  My goal is 150 and I am going to do what it takes to get there.  Drink more water and exercise more!  I do Feel like a new person less emotional pain to carry around with a lot of the weight gone!  I will write again soon...Til then!

WOW 175 POUNDS!  My One year Anniversary is coming up on April 10th.  If I can lose 9 more pounds by then I will be down 100 Pounds in 1 Year!  Century Club here i come!   I will post some new pictures.......I feel so much better......I truly have a new lease on life........ 

I haven't posted for a while...............I have just been enjoying life!  I weigh 182 lbs. now which is a total loss of 105 lbs. from before the band and 84 pounds lost since RNY on 4-10-2006 2 more months and it will be a year.  I am comfortably buying size 14 jeans.  I can't believe it, I have not worn jeans in at least 10 years!  I feel SOOO much better!  Life is good at a normal size..........I wonder if I will continue to lose or if this is it?  I have had NO  health problems at all RNY is the best decision I have ever made in my life.............literally.  I need to post current pictures because WOW I am soo much smaller when I look at those 287 or even the 250's I look so huge and uncomfortable.....I kind of feel like this is a dream........I never want to go back there..........I need to drink more water and exercise more. I will write more often  150 here I come...........That was what I put as my goal and I will keep pushing for it!

193 Pounds...............Slow and Steady it keeps coming off!  All is well I feel GREAT!   Except I have decided to get a divorce, my husband moved out and some days I feel like someone blew a cannon size hole through my chest and other days I feel relieved.  I tried to make it work for 13 years and we just were not happy together.  So now I live alone in my house and have no idea what the future holds.  I was also promoted at work I manage a Verizon Wireless store in San Antonio Texas and that is definitely keeping me busy!  I need to post some pictures.......I will se what I can come up with.  So I have lost 73 pounds in 7.5 months.  I need to update my inches lost because that is huge.....Getting farther from 200 makes me happy I never want to go back!

FINALLY..........ON 10/26/2006 I WEIGHED 199!  YES I WILL NEVER BE OVER 200 POUNDS AGAIN.  AND I AM NOW 198...... I FEEL SOOOO MUCH BETTER!  I HAVE LOST 68 POUNDS IN LESS THAN 7 MONTHS.....AND I FINALLY CLEARED ALL THE 1X, 2X, AND 3X CLOTHES OUT OF MY CLOSET AND GAVE THEM TO MY NEIGHBOR.......5 HEFTY BAGS FULL AND YOU WOULD THINK I WOULD BE HAPPY!   BUT I HAD TROUBLE PARTING WITH THEM....I PAID A LOT OF MONEY FOR THOSE CLOTHES AND A LOT OF THEM STILL HAD THE TAGS ON....BUT A FEW DAYS LATER I FELT A SENSE OF RELIEF....LETTING THEM GO WAS LIKE LETTING GO OF SOME MORE PAIN....AND NOW I HAVE ROOM FOR MY NEW CLOTHES.......SIZE 16 PANTS AND MED OR LARGE SHIRTS!  WELL I WILL WRITE AGAIN SOON........TRYING TO GET USED TO THE NEW FORMAT!   150 HERE I COME!
