I started out here on May 12, 2005. I had my surgery on August 11, 2005. It is now February 2007 and I weigh 135. I started out at close to 230 and I feel so much better and full of energy.

During my journey, I broke up with a boyfriend that did not want me to get the surgery.  I thought that the world had ended.  Boy was I ever wrong.

 December of 2006 I met someone that was to become a permanent part of my life. 

One year, August 12, after my surgery Ron and I were married.  He had had WLS as well but I did not know that when we met.  Funny how things happen.

We have celebrated our first Christmas together and our first Tax season.

I have met many new friends on this site and I'm sure you will too if you are reading this.
