It's Been Along Time

Howdy there friends,
Good grief how long has it been since I have been to this site! I had forgotten all about it and just happened to be surfing the net and came across ObesityHelp. I don't think anyone will remember me but this was a very helpful group and I had so much fun here. Alot of things have happened in the last 10 or 11 years since I have posted anything. There has been alot of sickness, surgeries, etc.....
PLEASE READ AND LISITEN TO WHAT I AM ABOUT TO SAY!
PLEASE make sure you are getting enough protein, minerals, and nutrients in your system. I was one that didn't and I payed a big, big price for it. Like I said it has been 12 years since my surgery and I am now paying for not eating right and not eating the right things and not takeing vitamins and supplements like I should have. Believe me it will KILL YOU. In the past 7 years I have been sick more than I have been well. I can't count on 2 hands how many times I have been in the hospital in the last 7 years. I have been in the hospital for spinial problems(3 back surgeries), kidney failure, intestinal problems, even brittle bones. It has been a long hard road and there is no one to blame but me. People ask me if I had to do it over again would I still have the gastric bypass and my answer is always the same, YES in a minute. Had I not had it I would not be here writting this in any condition.
Maybe things are getting a bit better now and I look forward to many more wonderful years here with my wife, children, grandchild, and friends now that I have gotten my head on stright and have started eating the right things and taking what I need to take. Again folks please lisiten to what I wrote and keep a close watch on your food intake and make sure you are asorbing everything your body needs. It can only be good for you. Take it from someone who knows this for a fact.
