PROUD ANGEL FLYING IN!!!!!!!!!!!! My dear sweet <b>Mada</b> called me a moment ago to give me an update!!! It has been two weeks since her surgery and she has lost EIGHTEEN... EIGHTEEN POUNDS!!!!! That is so incredible!!! She is doing great!!! I am so proud of her. She is my idol!!! Please stop by her surgery page and give her a WARM hello and offer her words of wisdom as she starts down the new road to a healthier/happier life. MADA.. YOU DID IT HON!!! Welcome to the losing side!!! I hope your recovery is as swift as mine is turning out to be!!! Every day gets a little easier...just remember to drink your water....and smile along the way. It's not an easy road at first...but I am feeling better as each new day comes....so will you!

Hello All Amoses. I am home and feeling alot better than I thought that I would. The incision site is tender but again, not as bad as I thought. I came home yesterday and rested most of the day, but today I got up and dressed and walked a bit outside. I haven't the slightest idea how far it was but it was enough. My biggest problem right now is gas. The doctor has me on Mylicon drops. I feel like such a baby, but they work. I will keep you all updated as soon as I can. For now I have to move around and then it is back to the recliner.
