Had 3 of my appts. today. So far every thing fine except when they did my Gall Bladder ultrasound they found that my left kidney is filled with a large cyst. This has me a bit worried (since I don't have a medical background), but I'm sure my Dr will call me if it is serious. If anyone of you wonderful people out there have knowledge of kidney cysts please send me some info. [email protected] Marj

Marjorie, Thanks for the post and for sharing that my sister is not the only one who is over reacting. I can understand the fear everyone has on the (*gulp*) dying aspect of the surgery I just wish they were able to walk 1 day in our shoes and feel the pain, and discomfort that we have. I belive in my heart that once surgery is over and life returns to normal (what ever that is) and we are living a healthy happy life they will then understand. Take care.

I'm starting to get excited about this journey. I believe that it might actually happen. Had my 1st consult on the 19th, today had EKG, chest x-ray and blood tests. Leaving on vacation Thursday but I'm scheduled for pulmonary funtions & gallbladder ultrasound on 10/13 (day after we get home), Social worker on 10/14 , upper endescope on 10/16. Just need response from nutritionalist (she's gone til 9/29) Psych & medicine consult said they will call me in the morning to set appt. And then I can schedule final consult & go for approval!!!!!
