"I was extremely pleased with Dr. Rumbaut and his staff from the very beginning. Doralisa is his patient co-ordinator and she couldn't have been more helpful. Then after I schedule my surgery I got a call from Dr. Rumbaut personally to make sure I didn't have any additional questions for him. Doralisa kept in contact with me from the time I first asked her questions to when I was at the hotel ready for my surgery. She even had a basket sent to the hotel full of things I could eat post op.
Dr. Rumbaut gives good guidlines for how you should ease back into solid foods after surgery, and things like that. He gave me a letter to give my General Physician to put in my medical records with a brief summary of the surgery, and the information on which band was used. I was referred to Dr. Kuri in Tijuana for my fills because it is closer to me than flying back to Monterrey. He also gave me the name of a surgeon in San Jose, but TJ was still closer for me.
I really couldn't have asked for anything more from Dr. Rumbaut and his staff. They all came to see me after I'd woken up to check out my incisions and make sure I was doing ok. He's very experienced, and a really really great guy. I guess the only thing that I could have hoped for was a larger list of surgeons in my area that do aftercare."
