In September 2008 I gone to talk to the surgeon about weight loss surgery.  I had gone because I wanted to lose the weight and couldn't do it on my own.  I also wanted to be healthier for my girls.  I had VSG on October 29th 2008.  Currently (May 10, 2009)  I am down 102 pounds.  When I went in for my 6 month post-op appointment I had gotten a copy of my before pic.  I looked at and said to my mom "Why didn't anyone tell me I looked like that" , I guess I had in my mindset that I wasn't that big.

I am much happier now.
