I am scheduled for surgery today April 29, 2008. Nervous....YES!!! I am hoping to get a lot from this website. Knowledge is POWER!! My daughter has already undergone this RNY in 2007 and has done remarkable. Revamped her lifestyle and I can only hope I can follow her lead. I have bad knees, arthritis, sleep apnea, diabetes, high BP...etc. Not what I was hoping for for the Golden Years. So...hittin this one hard...Goin for the gusto...success will be mine!!
My #1 supporter....my Best Buddy....my Grandson!! I just want to keep up with him a little better. Show him the good things...fishing...nature walks etc. Right now I am a little skeptical of a nature trail and my knees giving out. So give me some time and I will show him the way. Oh yeah...he's 3 and cute as all heck.
I have a loving wife, and 2 very supportive children a 39 yr old son and a 36 yr old daughter (she had the surgery as well).
I am thankful to have this chance for a fresh start. I gotta give it my best.
