My name is Michelle. I am 24 yrs old and have been type 1 diabetic. As many people know, insulin is a cause of weight gain, but I am totally not blaming 98% of it on the insulin. I made bad choices, and now I am ready to rid myself of those old habits I had. I am scheduled for RNY on March 16, 2009 at Winchester Hospital in MA. I am getting married Oct 17th, just about 7 months post -op and hope to not only look great but FEEL GREAT on my wedding day. Everyone in my life is supportive and wonderful and I am looking forward to feeling better and starting a new and healthier life, and a much longer life 
Im so grateful for everyone on this website who has helped me with my emotional and physical needs! I hope to keep in touch with everyone for a litetime.
