Approved! Is this a record?

It was Dec 6th when I made my mind up to have this surgery.  Its been a wild ride and took much longer than I expected jsut to meet the pre-op requirements.  Just to get my initial visit with my surgeon took a month.. since then Ive busted ass to get everything done.  Insurance approval was submitted on 2/09/10.  I gave them a few days before bugging them.  Ive had to call and harrass my PCP and the psyc to get things moving.  Figuring the same with insurance I called them a little before closing on a Friday 2/12/10.  The nice lady said I was approved. I was in shock.  In the silence she asked if I needed anything else. I said yeah, one thing. When was approval.  She responded well it was today.  So submission on Tuesday and approval on Friday.  I dont think my surgeon even knows... Ill be calling them Monday to set my date.

You think Obamacare would get me approved that quick?  Shhheetttt.. ok not getting into politics.  Ive worked very hard in my career to get where Im at and have a very nice insurance policy and I refuse to go quietly and let Obama try to take that from me... BTW. I have united Healthcare.

Such a weight taken off my shoulders today.  Im well on my way to getting life back and living it to the fullest!
