I am a 35 year old single mother living in Northen California. I have a wonderful 13 year old son, who is without a doubt my world. I have struggled my own life with obesity. I have tried several diets and weight loss medications but the most I have ever lost was about 35 pounds and even that didn't stay off.
I began to research Gastric Bypass surgery about a year ago but thought at that time that it would never happen for me. Then a family member had the surgery and I was once again motivated. I am now scheduled for surgery and am very excited at the opportunity to begin life all over again at 35.
