"My VSG surgery went off without a hitch. It was done at the Journey Lite surgery center and I received excellent care. I stayed 23 hours and was discharged the following morning. My pain was well controlled and follow up care was excellent. I would recommend Dr. Curry without hesitation. As a former Lap Band patient with another surgeon, I can honestly say that the gastric sleeve by Dr. Curry was a better choice for me. It's a tool that I will have for the rest of my life. "Doc has been great along with his staff. He wanted me to have the VSG or RNY to better control my diabetes by the hormonal changes that those procedures bring, but I couldn't be self pay for VSG and couldn't go for the RNY (too drastic).
