I am sooo happy I have been waiting 15 years for this and it is finally going to happen!!! Still don't know when but at least I do know that my insurance is going to pay.I will post more as I know it..... God Bless and I hope everyone has a GREAT day and weekend!!

are in as just as my doctor expected... I do have sleep apnea. So now I have to go get "scoped" to see how far my airway closes and then another sleep test with machine this time. Then I guess I will have a machine for awhile. Hopefully for not too long ( maybe I will get approved soon ) and the weight loss will definitely help the apnea. Anyway just wanted to update and let yall know....like I said I would. Hope everyone has a blessed day!!Please keep me and my family in your prayers.. without going into detail... we are in DESPERATE need for God to intervene in our lives. It has been awhile since I posted .... I have not been "with it" lately. Still trying to lose the few pounds that I gained while trying to fight puenomia and taking steroids...errrr!! Anyway, I called BCBS today and finally got ahold of someone that would take the time to look and they do have my paperwork in the "system" 
The lady told me it usually takes 2 weeks for the decision process. Not me, I will call everyday and they will get tired of hearing from me...lol. So anyway that is where I am on my journey...WAITING...
At least I am closer to getting it done then I was this time last year. I will keep yall up to date as I know more. God Bless--
LAST VIST WITH PCP FOR DIET....

Well, I had my last visit with my PCP on 4/7/07. I have unfornuately gained 3 pounds due to the steroids I have been on for the puenomia. He also is having me tested for sleep apnea. On the up side, I am still down 23 pounds since I started the diet program in Oct. So now I just have to wait on the paperwork to get sent to Dr. F and then to BCBS. Keep me in your prayers. Hopefully my dreams will become reality soon. I know it takes time and I am really trying to have patience, but it is getting really hard!! God bless and I will post more as I know what is going on next.

Hey everyone! Well I had my appointments with Hunter and Dr. F. They are great!!! Hunter was very pleased with the steps I have been already taking to prepare.
Dr. F was wonderful.. He explained everything really well to me, was open to any questions and answered any that I had. Stephanie the insurance goddess, was really nice and very informative on exactly what I need to do.
All my paperwork should be submitted by the first of April (hopefully) due to the fact that I will not have my 6 month physicians diet program completed until then.
Things are looking up and Im just a few more steps closer to the new me. Oh yeah, my test was negative too. Forgot the name of it, the one where you breathe into the bag. I think its Hpylori or something like that , anyway I didnt have any so YEAHHHHH!!!! I will keep everyone posted....

The day is approaching to go see the surgeon and for some reason I have butterflies...
I have been almost 5 weeks now with no sugar and no carbonated drinks trying to wing myself off of those things. Have been cutting back on caffeine too. Wish me luck ... Dr,. visit on Thursday the 6th!!!
