WOW, I am now 6 days post op. It feels so good to be able to write that. The trip to Reynosa Mexico was interesting. I had not flown for several years, so it was almost a new experience. Dr. Cantu and Dr Mansur of the Advanced Bariatric Institute were so kind, caring and they just gave me the best care. Their office staff is also wonderful as was Lupita the coordinator that worked with me.
I have been on clear liquids since surgery and tomorrow am allowed Cream of Rice cereal and yogurt and protein shakes. Of course it won't be much, no room.
I am just so happy I did this for me!!

The Journey

I'm on the journey to better health. Have not been able to do on my own, even with all the different programs. So the WLS will be my salvation. I am looking forward to being able to move better, and not be in pain after working a few hours.
I have been heavy all my 61, short years. Time to change that!
