Going in on weds 8th for Day surgery for Gall bladder so will be completely out of it till probably friday... oh the joys!!!!

I have now lost a bit more and am down to 12 stone 9 lbs... but on down side I now need my Gall bladder removing so am just waiting for that op.... NOT good. but hay what can you do.

I am down to 13stone and have but a few bags of skin to remove... Spoke to Surgeon at my review he says he can't do the skin removal as it requires a plastic surgeon and he isn't one... also he thinks that if my GP is behind me then I can have the op done on the NHS woo hoo... wonder how long I would have to wait for that one then????


Anyway feeling positive even if I look like a Kangeroo with a pouch on my stomach!!!! am as thin as I want to be barring the excess skin.

I am down to a size UK 16 now from a size UK 38 doing well... getting fit again now!

I am now 10 stone (140lbs) down and feeling fantastic, although I still get tired quickly.
I am looking to ask about the Excess skin removal now... I hate it there looking like an empty pregnancy bump... (Mothers you will understand that!) and the fact My waist size has gone down but cos of the excess skin on my belly I am still in UKsize 18/20 grrrrr Tops wise I can get into a 14/16 but still have a Tire of skin there too so don't like to show it off and my arms... well lets just say I try to avoid High winds... I may take off... but other than that It's great... I get funny looks from people I haven't seen for ages who do not recognise me!!!! Thats funny!!!! but can be embarrasing, I get people coming up all the time saying OOOO you've lost weight how have you managed that??? Weight watchers??? Slimming world??? I sometimes say it's a secret... or I had Gastric Bypass Surgery!!!! They look shocked then and sometimes scuttle off... I mean what do they want me to say??? Yes I went to weight watchers where locally the woman who runs it can't be arsed with the people who join??? and has No time for them??? or Slimming world... where all they want to do is take your money off you and weigh you then say ok See you next week......
I mean if you can do it that way then good on ya... but personally I found it a crock of Puppy poop!

well lets see... 20p to get weighed at the chemists.... or £5 to get weighed at Weight watchers or Slimming world??? Hmmmm Which would you choose they all have the same amount of back up lol.....

Anyway I am feeling fantastic if a little cold.... Now thats a new one for me!!!!
And still trying to find out about the whole skin removal op... essp in England!!!! as so far I have only seen ones from America.... I need details people.... Please...


 

I have now lost 9 stone, I walk anywhere up to 26 miles a week, I am going to be starting running and also dance-er-size... Keep going every one.

I am now 1 week post op..... and very fed up tbh... I am eating more than they said I could but when I have mostly protein in my diet I can't eat as much... Mind you I have about a small Baby bowl of food, Most meals have consisted of Mash and cheese, and tonight I had Shepherds pie! wow that was nice lol.

I would love to weigh myself to see if  anything has come off, but my Home scales don't go up that far!!!!!!!!!

My Staples hurt but not enough for me to take a pain killer.
And I can't wait to have them removed... not that I am looking forward to it lol!

I am due to go and have Bariatric (Reux-en-y) Gastric By Pass surgery, on Monday and I am a bit nervous.... I am 346.5 lbs or 154kg or 24 stones depending on what measurement you take.
any one have any advice on after surgery?
