Well it has been a long time since i have been on here and boy so much has changed about me its not even funny. all for the better of course. My current weight is 210. I was 286 the day of surgery and 321 when i started this whole journey. All in All i feel amazing! Still curious how much more is gonna come off. I think i have hit my 1st little plateau but im sure this too will pass. My biggest problem with the whole surgery is trying to get enough protien. Any suggestions. the shakes are not for me especially now that im lactose intolerant since surgery. I found out that sugar doesnt bother me at all which im thankful for in a way because im addicted to monster loca mocha coffee drinks. that is my only addiction and although they are made with milk i can tolerate them very well. If anyone has any input on the protien thing please let me know. My hair is slowly starting to fall out. not noticible at this point but i dont want it to be either. im scared to get my hair cut or dyed because i know its fragile.
Well ill keep you posted......

well i have been on one hell of a journey this far. i have lost so much in the last month that i dont know how to act. between losing a total of almost 60 lbs since surgery and my father passing away on the 35th it has been one hell of a roller coaster that i hope no one has to endure so soon after surgery. my dad was only 55 and to see him go through what he went through due to diabetes and obesity has really opened my eyes ond the eyes of my siblings that are too over weight. i now more then ever am thankful that i undergone this life changing surgery.

well today was my 1st real day back at the gym hitting it hard too i might add. it felt great! i have a great trainer that is helping me with all of my jiggly areas that i never had before i might add. it really amazes me that 35 lbs can make such a huge dfference in ur body. hell everything is all out of whack. oh well all i can do now is work what i can off. i REFUSE to be saggy im too young for that. i hear tanning helps to so i did that today too just had to keep my g-tube hole covered since it just came out on the 2nd i didnt think it would have been a good idea to burn that while it was in the healing process!
well ill ltalk more later as my transformation continues!

well i have to admit everything has gone perfectly thus far. then last night what they warn you about in the hospital happened. I thought i was having a massive heart attack but i remembered what they told me about the gases from surgery trapping themselves and the pain in my left shoulder was out of this world!!!! Nothing seemed to ease the pain either. My g-tube felt like it was going to come right out of my skin grrrrrr! i knew this was too easy! i put an ice pack on my g tube and seemed to splint the pain that way after a couple of hours it seemed to subside but boy was that scary! the only thing that kept me sane through the whole thing was the fact that i could actually feel the gas bubbles bubbling up from my abdomen area so i knew this is what it had to be. dont get me wrong without a level head i would have rushed to the ER, but something in the back of my head kept saying its just gas.
This morning, i woke up with still a little gas bubbles but nothing compared to last night. I go for my post op appt tomorrow and i will be sure to mention it to them at that time.
On another note, does someone have and insight on what kinds of protein to use??? i went and got the superadvanced whey protein which has 56g of protein per 8oz but i cant even get down 4oz. i do not want to lose my hair but i just simply cant do it. there is no way i can drink 4 shakes a day and eat 3 small meals a day.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
