I decided to go to a Lap Band seminar last November. My life has never been better and I've never been happier. My youngest daughter started college, my oldest daughter adopted a baby, so I became a Grandma and I've been dating the most wonderful man in the world, but....I felt like it was time to take charge of my life and do something about being overweight and unhealthy. I want to be around to see my daughters become mothers and I want to healthily grow old with the love of my life.
I began testing in March 2008 and was approved for surgery in September. My surgery will take place October 16, 2008.
My emotions go from excitement to scared to death.....I'm hoping that's normal.
