Well - its been a year, i've lost 130 lbs, still have about 40 to go, but am so happy to be living life and actually active! i would recommend this surgery to everyone!

Well, 6 months out was on 9/25. I got my gall bladder out on 9/29, so no 6 months pics as of yet. So happy to be 6 months out and -118! hooray. gall bladder put up a valiant fight and did not want to leave quietly. Here, a week later and i'm still damn sore. Again, thanks to all my friends and family (home and on OH) who love and support me!

i hit my big goal of -100 a week ago! hit a bit of a stall this week, but am soooo relieved and thrilled.

i'm posting a little late. I'm now down -95 pounds, i absolutely CANNOT wait to be -100! that is my first of many goals. things have just been insane with swim season winding down, but hopefully i can ramp up the gym to 4x a week!

i'm now down 70 lbs, just thrilled, another 90 to lose, but i tell you, its' working for me. i'm making sure to go to the gym at least 3x a week, i should do 4, but finding it hard to fit in now that swim team is under way! thanks for all the love and support.

I'm now down 66.5 lbs, another 1 1/2 lbs and i will have lost 20% of my total body weight, that's a big goal for me, still want to lose at least another 90 lbs or so. I'm so thankful i had this surgery, and for the support of all my OH friends, my real-life friends and family and co-workers, they have all been absolutely FABULOUS. I am so blessed. I'll probably update again on 6/25 (that will be my 3 month surgerversary).

Well today is exactly 2 months since surgery what a HUGE improvement i see in my life already. I have soooo much more energy, but when i get tired, i need to rest ASAP! i find that i usually need a nap or go to bed early after i go to the gym. I now have a personal trainer who is just fabulous! she really kicks my butt, but I do need that! I would never have made it this far with out all the help from my OH friends and all my other friends help and prayers. So, i'm down 58 pounds which is amazing to me! i'm so very thankful to my friends and family who have had very strong shoulders to lean on.
incision update

went into the drs today, they repacked the incision, just a littie more drainage to get out. Does not hurt at all. Go back wed, i'm down' 43 lbs! HOORAY. Go back to work tomorrow, I cannot wait!

my large incision started "leaking" yesterday. went to see the surgeon's office today. they were fabulous. they had to cut open the incision site and press out all the yuck. they did numb it first, so i felt nothing but pressure. Good news though, down 37.6 pounds!

it will be 3 weeks tomorrow since surgery, i'm down as of today -34 lbs! HOORAY - still can't go back to work for another week (still recouperating from the double pneumonia) and the 6 day hospital stay, but so glad to be out, about and driving again, feels so free. post surgery visit was fine, i'm to stay on "mooshy" foods until my next visit May 4...
