Hi! I had gastric by-pass surgery in March of 2004 and I tell everyone, "I would do it again - on my kitchen table - with no anesthesia!" (stolen quote)

I started out weighing 300 pounds and, at my lowest, got down to 148. Over the past eighteen months, I have gradually put on about 30 pounds and am working HARD to get those back off again. I could see where I was headed > back to 300.Weight loss surgery is a wonderful tool, but once your initial weight loss honeymoon is over, it is back to dieting and being aware of what you eat and making wise choices.
