Happy Surgiversary month!

Hi, I just wanted everyone to know Al had her surgery yesterday and is doing very well. She started surgery around 8:30am, all went well. She went for her first walk last night too! :) She did good. She is looking forward to getting home to be with her hubby and kids. I am sure she will appreciate if everyone sends some words of encouragement for when she gets home to help he start her new journey in life. I know we ARE ALL PROUD OF YOU AL! :) XOXOXOXO

I am very proud of you! I know this must be the hardest thing for you to do in life and I am so happy for you, that you have a second chance to start over with your weight! I know you will bounce back quickly because you have been preparing for this. Good luck, and I will try to be strong ! You know what a freak I am about these things! Congratulations on your surgery tomorrow! You're going to get that energy to play with your children, help around the house and those heat rashes, high blood pressure and cholesterol will be a thing of the past! I pray you have a complication free recovery followed by a lifetime of improved health and success. YOU CAN DO THIS BABE! I look forward to hearing about your many wow moments in your post-op life. Again, congratulations and rest well tonight.

To my determined, empowered & POWERFUL sister, WIth 4 days left until another huge, life altering event in your life, I can only imagine what must be going through your mind! In some ways i already know, you havent stopped chattered about it since the day you found out about the surgery !! : ) Jk!! I know i always joke about your lastest obsessions, but this one is the most terrific- it's not some new hot item you're going to sell or post on a webpage- this is your health, your life, and your chioce to make a drastic change. I'm so excited for you to embark on this "journey" and i call it that b/c it is so exciting but at the same time, i know it's not going to be quick, painless or by any means, easy. HOwever, I think you have researched and planned to a level that you know your fate is your own hands!!! ANyways, i guess i just wanted to say "good luck", "break a leg", "god speed", etc, but most of all that I love you and that as i have been there for all your other journies and milsetones, (pregnancy, motherhood, marriage), I am here for you once again!!! Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!
