Lesa, Your day is almost here! I will be praying that you have a complication free recovery and that you find yourself surrounded by supportive people to help you through the rough days (like today when you are stuck on an all liquid diet and your co-workers get to munch on Thanksgiving food) and celebrate with you as you reach and surpass your goals! God bless you Lesa, Amy Berry

Lesa, Congrats on your surgery tomorrow! It's an amazing journey! Just buckle up and enjoy the ride. There are days when it will be tough and you will question why you ever had the surgery. You will seriously doubt that you made the right decision and might even search out a surgeon that'll do a revision. However, take heart, my friend, that's the hard part. Focus on what's important: The goal of losing the weight and becoming healthier. The weight loss will come; that's the nature of the surgery. Set your sights on trying to fix eating habits and establish new healthy ones, ones that will set examples for your children or spouse or future children. This is the beginning of the rest of your life. Don't go back! Move forward and inspire people with your amazing attitude and warm personality. It's going to be a great life, here on the loser's bench! See you on the losing side, Lesa! May God be with you and stay the hand of your surgeon.
