I started to look into the Gastric by pass procedure in May of 2006. I went through the 2 hour informational session and talked with Hubby of 3 months and then decided to go through with the surgery. After all the tests and being approved...My surgery was scheduled for November 27th. I was excited but soooo nervous. This was going to be the firs time I would be put under and have a surgery. So on November 24th I found this site and it helped me through the weekend up to my surgery date. I still do not have a angel on this site though not sure what that is all about if the angel is suppose to be like a partner and keep in touch but this site helps alot. I started out at 282 and just went in on Feb. 13 for my 3 month check up and i am at 228. I feel great and am glad I followed through with the surgery. I still have alot to lose but I am loving my life.
