After many months on waiting it has finally arrived. June 20th my surgery day. I have already gotten up and showered(scrubbed with anti-bacterial soap) really wanted to on lotion but i didn't. My mom is here my daughter is at camp. Loser bench here I come!!!

Well as of today I have 8 days until surgery.. I have been on my liquid proteins and nonstarchy veggies for a week know and have lost about 7lbs. I have a busy week at work this week and with last minute dr appointments and pre-op on Wednesday. Nervous energy now and I still as of yet havent told my friend that I have been dating for 6 months that I am having the surgery. He knows that I am working on losing weight but has no idea. He knows my mom will be here for a month so our time together will be short. But I have decided when he comes back in town on Thursday I will tell him. I asked him one day if i lost a 100lbs would he still want to be with me. He said that he was attracted to not just my body but the whole of me inside and out. But I'm still nervouse about his reaction to me having surgery

Well today marks my 10 days till surgery. I am a ball of emotions all good emotions and fellings. This is a life changing for me.It is my tool to get completely healthy and be there for my little girl who is my joy and sunshine and my biggest cheerleader. I have been doing good on my liquid diet with non starchy veggies i did have grilled chicken with it yesterday but that is considered protein. I have met some really great Angels the past couple of days that have motivated me. And i look forward to paying it forward.

Well today is day 3 for me and due to the amount of insulin i am taking my sugar dropped so i did eat a snack size box of rasins that i found in my desk drawer. But a good thing is i started water aerobics today so i am  a little tired but feeling better then i felt in a long time

I am really proud of myself this morning it is day 2 of my all liquid journey and i made it thru the night without eating so i still have 15 days of this but thats ok because the hardest part was yesterday. My other happiness is that I actually slept with my cpap all night long and for me that was a long time coming because normally after an hour or two i take it off. But again i am determined. I have come to far not to finish. But i will be home from church because my body is detoxing so i will be watching the 10 service from home today.

Well this is my first full day on OH and I am two weeks to surgery. I have survived my first day of my all liquid diet it was hard. But I am determined. I see this as preparation for my new life. I have to admit today was hard. My doctor did give me an option to do all liquid or i can do two shakes a day plenty of sugar free low cal drinks and a small meal with grilled or bake chicken, fish or turkey and a non-starchy vegatable but i'm gonna try my best to stick it out. Any suggestions would be helpful.
