Hi Lorie, Don't feel down, hon. It has only been a few months and you are looking absolutely beautiful! Don't let it get you down. Even if you feel your weight loss is slower than others' just think of it this way: People who lose slower have less hanging skin because it has more time to produce connective tissue and elastin. So there! Hugs, Carrie L. P.S. I have Dr. Suh too!! Hopefully soon!

Lorie, I am praying for you. I pray things turn up for you very soon. The emotional aspects of the surgery can be quite difficult. Keep posting and remember we are supporting you all the way! Blessings, Lynn

I completely understand what you are going through. I posted about 2 weeks ago about depression. I am doing a little better, but I think I still need meds or a therapist. I hope you start geeling better soon. Take care and please e-mail me anytime. I would love to talk....

{{{{{{Lorie}}}}}} I could have written what you wrote about depression and anxiety right after surgery and how mentally unprepared I was for it, even though I thought I was. But, as you kow on your brain, it does get sooooo much better. For me, the turning point was at just about five weeks out. Now, a little over a year and a half later, I wouldn't have traded my surgery for anything! My doctor gave me xanax to help withthe anxiety. I also started taking my wellbutrin again, which helps a lot too. I am thinking of you and know that you will have the strength to stick it out for a few more weeks, and the happiness will come back. Take care!!!!

Lorie, I hope that you start feeling better soon. Surgery is definitely an adjustment, but soon you will feel so much better. Just hang in there and please know that we are all here for you to support you. This group is so awesome and you can lean on us when you feel you need that extra help. Take care of yourself!

Lorie, please know that we're all here for you when times are rough. Just remember that it WILL get better as soon as your body starts to re-gain it's strength back. Go easy on yourself and if you need a nap, take one. Keep up with your protein, your water and try to get in some walking. If you need someone to lift you back up, come to the board and post about it. Like I said before, we're all here for you. Take care...
