I am starting to look into having gastric bypass surgery but I am terrified.  I have two small children that I have to take care of.  I know that I am having problems now with my health because of my weight.  But I also now that I could easily live another 20 years overweight and raise my children.  I would like to be more active with my kids and do things that I can not do now.  Should I take the chance of dying and have the surgery?  I have to live to take care of my kids. They are my life.
