Well... I'm going for my consultation on the 18th. I'm so excited. Still haven't been able to talk to anyone who has had the surgery. Don't know why no one wants to talk to me... I just want to ask a few questions. Oh well. I will let you all know how it goes... I am so nervous!!

I really would really like to talk to some people who have had surgery and hear their experiences. I'm still not sure which surgery is right for me. I'm leaning more towards the lap band because you don't seem to be as restricted as with the gastric bypass surgery. I really want to hear from you if you have had surgery... contact me

I went to the seminar today. It was very informative. I learned alot and I believe gastric bypass is the option for me. I have already called medicared to find out what I need to qualify for surgery. I think I should be able to meet those qualifications. I have to talk to my doc about this a little bit more. I hope to start testing soon.
Just Beginning

I'm just beginning my journey. I haven't found a surgeon, but have a good idea who I will go with. I plan to attend a seminar April 19th in Ocala, FL. We will see what happens from that point on... I will keep you posted.
