Wow, where do I start! My life is as close to perfect as it can be. I'm down 142 pounds total. Have 28 to go until I get a tummy tuck done in May. My surgery was 3-13-03 and life is not even close to how it was then.
I've graduated from college with a Bachelor's degree. I have a kick-butt job! I got out of an emotionallly and at the end physically abusive marriage. I'm dating the most wonderful man in the world, he is educated, kind, caring, very successful and had credentials longer than my arm. He is an internationally known orchestra conductor, and if you google him pages and pages come up. Yep, my life is how I always knew it would be when I was a little girl!
It all started when I made the decision to lose the weight and take control of my life. My Dad always had a lot of faith in me but I never saw what he saw. Now that I've made all these changes I am honoring him by taking his name. He was really my step-father, and he's gone now, but I am finally the person he always said I was. So on March 15, 2007 I will be taking his name.
Life is sweet! Take control and make your own destiny. It's not easy, people will fight you as they don't want you to change. My ex fought me every step of the way but I had to be true to myself. My reward: happiness that is priceless!
