"My first impression of Dr. Whipple was that he was a very nice looking doctor, but also very professional and caring. He seemed to know exactly what surgery would be best for me right away. He is a very busy doctor and doesn't spend much time visiting with you, which is ok as long as he answers all your questions (which he did). The staff of Memorial Bariatric Center was great! No problems and very helpful. The only little problem we had was with insurance, payment person, she really didn't understand how our insurance and suplimental insurance all worked together and tried to get us to pay some up front and we are 100% covered. That was not a huge deal though because we paid a little and that covered the deductible which we would have had to pay anyway. Memorial Bariatric Clinic has a patient portal but it is not really that beneficial becuase it is not updated that frequently. All in all the experience was good. I felt like I was well cared for and was very happy with Dr. Whipple and his staff. "
