Hi L, I also had a gut feeling and I leaned rowards Lap Banding all along. I just felt more at ease with it but it is a personal choice and everyone is different. I did have a complication and ended up staying in the hospital for 9 days just waiting for the swelling to go down so I could drink and keep down water. Until I could drink, they had to keep me on IV's. It wasn't a serious complication, just a time consuming one. But it's important to know that things can happen, no matter which surgery you choose. I'm very happy with my choice and would do it again in a heartbeat!! I'm down -25 lbs and feel great! HUGS! Carol Percel
