Well, it finally happened.  After 14 months of struggle with the insurance and with the amazing help of Tracy, my surgery was finally approved and I had lapband on Dec. 1.  The surgery was totally super but I totally underestimated laporascopic surgery, since I had never had it done before.  But finally after two weeks, I feel well, have returned to my part time job and have gotten most of my Christmas shopping done.  I was down 12 pounds at my check-up.  I'm starting to feel less restriction now and can't wait for my first fill.
