I am a Mother and a Wife of gastric bypass. My daughter had her's July 2005 and my husband Oct 2006..my daughter breezed through it with only protein tolerance at first and now only has dumping with dairy. My husband on other hand has had complications with leak the next to return to surgery and post 2 weeks still leaking. At home now with tube feeding pumping the protein in with the Ensure to speed healing.. Yesterday the drainage stopped and blue ice trial shows no leak into the drain bag!!!! Now is 2008 all is well and both would do it all over again. Off all meds and my husband would tell you real quick he would do it all over again!
