"I felt it was noisy and not at all restful. I had a roommate I felt bad for. She had a more extensive surgry than mine,and he monitor things beeped all night long and sometimes it seemed to take forever for a nurse to come.It was a holiday so perhaps they were a bit understaffed. I was suprised and dismayed that my surgeon sent a fellow in to see me prior to surgery, and never came to see me. "

"If there had been something above excellent to choose I would have! For the first time my health issues were not blamed on my weight and I was not sent out of the office with a dietician referral! Valerie is compassionate and caring and she "gets it" about obesity and the complex issues involved. She told me it is not all my fault and that medicine is only now starting to realize that. She also said that WLS is the ONLY tool medicine has to help obese people lose weight and KEEP IT OFF long term. She acknowledged I could do it in a more conventional way but the big problem is long term success. Valerie is WONDERFUL."
