Wow! I hadn't seen this page for a long time, and then Diane R. Posted to wish me well and let me know she's right there with me (good luck on your surgery, diane!). Reading back, it made me feel awesome that so many people supported me at this web site when I was on my way to "the other side". This site was very very important to me in my early journey, and I enjoy seeing how it's grown since the early days. The support and information available here is so deep! I have scoured the web and not found a better site for pre and post WLS info. There isn't one. Bless you all. ~Lisa

From Lisa Swaim: I am profoundly overcome by the prayers and well wishes of support that you all have sent my way. It was rough going for a bit! On the upside... I have lost 24 lbs from 3/6 to 3/22! It's amazing, isn't it? Lots of things still to adjust to, but am making daily strides. My special thanks and love to Cuthbert and Ava Lee for keeping the updates rolling out when I was unable! Check out my profile on this site for an in depth look at my personal process in this journey. xoxoxoxox
