In the emergency room again! Uhhhh
Jun 01, 2010
I have lost 40 lbs in 4 weeks and now I am at a stand still "at the same weight for 2 weeks. Hopefully my body will bounce back after having a "lung tap" as I had fluid between the lining of the lung and the outside covering that protects the lung and I could not breathe. I guess I am going to be the one with complications? My husband has had his surgery with no problem, he also has lost 40 lbs in a week in a half. I only wish I was so lucky!

WLS Surgery 4/20/10 Inland Valley Medical Center

Well I finally had my Surgery and other than a little Nausea and pain I am doing fine. I had a few complications, needed blood transfusions and I had Yellow Jaundice in which I had to be rehospitalized for observation, other than feeling a little week I feel okay. Dr. Suh really took care of me, the nurses were great and the hospital was not bad either. I am two weeks post-op and I have lost 20 lbs.

Rancho Springs Medical Center - Surgery date 4/10/2010

Can anyone who has had bariatric surgery at Rancho Springs Medical Center in Murretta share their experience with me about the hospital stay. I recently read an article about them being fined for non-compliance and having to pay some pretty hefty fines (more than any other hospital in the state). I recently took a tour and did not notice anything out of the ordinary that popped out at me leading me to believe that this was not a good hospital for me to have my surgery at, but now I feel a little apprehensive, as one of the fines were for sterlization procedures that were not being followed and medications not being dispensed correctly.
