Hi Eileen, Good luck to both of us, your new life begins two days before mine, I will be at wishard hospital,or we could visit post surgery. :0) It will be a great race to see how fast each of us can be great hoosier loosiers. HI, I WISH YOU THE BEST. I HAD DR HUSE AND ALL HAS BEEN GREAT. THE HOSPITAL WAS IDEAL. I HAD MY SURGERY 10-23-02 AND AM DOWN 95LBS. YOU WILL BE A WHOLE NEW PERSON. REMEMBER TO SIP AND WALK. I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU. PAM

Hi Eileen, I just read your post, and yes I did experiance something very similar. My pcp was old fashioned and un educated. He told me more exercise and diet and I would loose my weight. Well I have to tell you I checked around and found the most wonderful pcp I could ever ask for. I am so happy I changed. He is very educated and very supportive. What a difference it makes. So go and do some shopping. Also ask around at your local support group if you have one... or just ask some friends. I just made a consultation with the new one and decided then he was the one... good luck...

EILEEN~~ The first PCP I asked about WLS was opposed to it...
