Here I am, the day before surgery, finally! I hardly slept last night, it's going to be a long day today. I'll just have to keep busy. It is just so hard for me to imagine that the day is almost here...

Last night I slept for 14 hours! I guess the restless nights are finally catching up to me. I lay in bed and review EVERYTHING that will take place on Tuesday and its driving me nuts. I am sure nothing will be as I think it will be, anxiety is getting the best of me. Two more days and one restless night away, I am soo ready for this!

I feel as if I have finally made some progress today! Got my house cleaned and most of the laundry taken care of. Finally settling down inside knowing I am making the most of my time. I just want everything done for when I get home since it is only my son and myself. Tomorrow is preop day....yah!

Everything is finally moving along! I have an appointment with my doctor today to get my B12 shot. I absolutely need to get this house and laundry done, no more procrastinating. My appointment for my preop is tomorrow...thats when reality sets in!

I am sooo thankful my shopping for the month is done! I bet I was in the store for 2 hours reading labels. I'm sure it will get easier and I will remember in time what is what. Shopping for 2 people with different menus is more difficult than I thought. I can do this...I can do this... I planned on cleaning and doing laundry today but there is no way, my back is killing me.

Getting a little stressed today knowing I am only days away now. Can't seem to get motivated about doing housework even though I know it definately needs to be done beforehand. Got some pj's today and some necessities to take along. HAPPY to know I won't be buying size 3XL anymore. Still need to go grocery shopping...probably tomorrow. Anyways, just a little on the crabby side today, maybe tomorrow will be better....
Postop appointment

Found out my postop is rescheduled for this Friday! I guess the dietician can't make it there so she will be visiting me at the surgery center. Just happy that everything is moving along. It's kind of sureal, is this really happening? Definately a dream come true!

Due to weather problems on Friday, my preop appointment was cancelled. The office is trying to figure out when to get me together with the dietician before next Tuesday. I have so many things to do by then, hopefully I can get it all done in time!
