Lesa H.
Hello to all. My name is Lesa. I am happily married to the man of my dreams. We have 4 great children. It wasn't until the last prenancy (12/2000) that I started having obvious medical problems. In 2003 I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). Symptoms worsened over the next few years and the weight kept creeping upward. I consulted with a reproductive specialist and confirmed the PCOS, visibly and by tests. He suggested that weightloss surgery could get the weight off to help relieve/reduce the laundry list of problems associated with the PCOS along with the additional/new medical issues we found during the extensive testing.
